The Concierge is expert in handling a variety of guest needs. Expected to make the impossible achievable for our guests by relying on contacts with local merchants and service providers. Must demonstrate knowledge of the attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area. Answers questions and makes arrangements for transportation, restaurant reservations, interesting places to visit or health and beauty services, cultural events, religious worship, childcare, shopping, florists, etc. Position also gives directions to meetings and events within the hotel as well as explain hotel facilities.

Our Food & Beverage team members have the highest responsibility for maximizing the guest’s dining experience. The uniqueness of these positions are consistently providing a local palate of traditional and regional Contemporary American cuisine that meets guest’s discerning expectations. The individual selected for this position will be responsible for the execution of a ’la carte service, room service, and events in an intimate and highly personalized dining atmosphere.
Previous experience as a Line Cook in a high end restaurant or hotel environment. The ability to communicate effectively, verbally and written is a requirement for this highly interactive and engaging position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare food of consistent quality following recipe cards according to portion standards, within specific time frame, per check from servers
Start food items that are prepared ahead of time, making sure not to over prepare estimated needs.
Date all food containers and rotate, making sure that all perishables are kept at proper temperatures.
Check pars for shift use, determine necessary preparation, freezer pull and line set up. Note any out of stock items or possible shortages.
Return all food items not used on next shift to designated storage areas, being sure to cover date all perishables.
Assist in setting up plans and actions to correct any food cost problems, control food waste, loss and usage.
Operate, maintain and properly clean all the kitchen equipment.
Use safe food handling procedures and maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
