Deposit/Cancellation Policy

The Brenton Hotel has a deposit policy of 50% due at the point of reservation for a guestroom; suites require a 100% deposit at the point of reservation. A credit card will be charged accordingly when the reservation is made.

Cancellations can be made up to 48 hours prior to arrival for a full refund of the deposit, less a $40 processing fee. Cancellations within 48 hours of the arrival date will forfeit any deposits.


Fees & Taxes

The Brenton Hotel does not charge a resort fee and you’ll find fast and free WiFi available throughout our public spaces and in each guestroom and suite.

The Breton Hotel has onsite parking available for guests on the ground floor of the property.  There is a $40 per night parking fee. Please note that valet service has been paused per our COVID-19 protocols.

Guest room rates are subject to state and local taxes, which include 7% state sales tax, 6% lodging tax, and a $1 per night Newport Tourism Marketing District fee.


When to Check In…and Check Out

Check in at the Brenton Hotel is 4 pm.  Of course, you are welcome to arrive any time and enjoy a light meal in the Living Room, or a stroll through Newport. Just leave your luggage with us. And, if your arrival is delayed well past 4 pm, no need to worry…late arrivals are guaranteed.

Please note that check out is at 11 am.  Should you need to cut your stay short by a day or two for any reason, early departures are available upon request, with a fee.


Accessibility

The Brenton Hotel is fully compliant with ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) requirements. ADA-fitted rooms are available to book on the website and by calling reservations at 401-849-3100.


Smoking

The Brenton Hotel is a non-smoking environment, both indoors and out, which includes outdoor spaces such as room balconies and the Roof Top. We thank you for your consideration.


Pet Policy

Your beloved pet is a welcome guest at the Brenton Hotel!  We have dedicated, pet-friendly accommodations and services ready for your arrival. While there is no extra room charge for your pet, accidents can happen and an extra deep cleaning fee will be charged, if needed.


Lost & Found

If you believe you’ve misplaced something in the hotel during your stay or left something behind after your departure, please contact the concierge immediately. The hotel’s lost and found service can be accessed 24-hours a day.


Damage

Should there be any damages to the furniture, fixtures, or furnishings in your room during your stay, the Brenton reserves the right to assess an additional charge, if applicable.


Photography Policy

The Brenton has so many Insta-worthy features.…views from the floor-to-ceiling windows, curated art, views from the Roof Top, design touches throughout, and did we mention the views?  Please do share and tag us @thebrentonhotel as often as you like.  It would be greatly appreciated it if you would ask permission of staff and guests before taking their image for social media.
